The Process Engineer works in the engineering department developing pre-production processes. This position will select equipment, calculate cycle times, select tooling, work with vendors, process, program, set up and prove out new processes. The goal of this position is to find the most efficient method to produce product. The Process Engineer will conduct capability studies, tool trials and develop robust processes. Some of the products are complex and involve major projects to create the process/program prior to production. Knowledge of swiss lathe programming, cutting tool applications and machine tool set up is required. Past experience programming Fanuc controls is strongly preferred. Our client will provide training on the various models of new state of the art multi axis swiss lathes. They have the latest technology available in the swiss lathe industry.
