POSITION PURPOSE: Provide leadership in improving the operation and reliability of site wide manufacturing and support processes. SCOPE: This position is responsible developing, implementing, and auditing site wide reliability and preventative/ predictive programs to improve the Overall Equipment Effective (OEE) of the assets throughout the facility. Incumbent will also have responsibility for the technical capability development of maintenance and operations personnel. KEY CUSTOMERS: Mill management, mill maintenance teams, site engineering and operating teams, staff engineering RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Reports - 1-10 hourly with indirect influence on 1-50 site maintenance technicians. Direct impact on the 12MM annual maintenance expense budget. Project responsibility up to 3MM. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in other mills and with a preventative maintenance best practices and programs is preferred. Past experience in maintenance or operations leadership preferred. Position typically requires a Bachelor's or advance degree in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience, and continuing self development. Should know property and casualty coverages within middle market, as well as Technology E & O coverages.
