Here is an idea of the work to be performed. • Locate the UPS units at the store and confirm count for site and record serial numbers • Start installation on the front end lane designated by the store (checkstands, SCO podium) Once the frontend icomplete move to the peripherals (Pharmacy, Customer Service Counter, Floral) • Unpack the UPS and connect the battery per the instructions supplied in the box. • Remove the side panel where the PC is located. Place the UPS on the floor and follow the instructions. • Plug PC, PCDisplay & Verifone pinpad into the back of the UPS • Set the UPS under the belt and plug the UPS into the Orange outlet under the belt. • Confirm that the UPS is on regular power. If UPS stays on battery move to another outlet or use the AC tester to confirm the outlet has power. • Once the PC is up confirm that the pinpad is on ?lane closed? screen. • Have store personnel sign on to the lane confirm the pinpad opens and then sign off. Adecco is looking for a goal oriented team player to fill an Operations/Maintenance Generalist Position with a great organization in Newark, DE. Under general supervision, performs general maintenance duties or minor technical tasks required to maintain structures, equipment and grounds common to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract facility sites and structures. This is a day shift opportunity that will pay $14.00 to $15.00 per hour. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Assists in performing routine repair of structures, which may include wall repairs, carpet installation, sanding walls in preparation for painting, painting, etc. * Assists in performing safety check on heating, cooling and other equipment * Must comply with work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested and completing work orders per instruction * Performs a variety of cleaning tasks including but not limited to: dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash collection and removal, in occupied, restroom and commons area cleaning. * Mixes appropriate chemical(s) (i.e. cleaning, fertilizer, construction compounds) per manufacturer's specifications. * May perform the replacement of minor electrical devices. * May operate various groundskeeping equipment associated with mowing, planting, trimming, or pruning, etc. as required. Operates sprinkler systems, performs corrective action for lawn stress situations, and utilizes appropriate fertilization compounds and systems. * May operate and maintain heavy equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, waxing machines, forklifts or groundskeeping equipment such front end loaders or a back-hoe. * Moves furniture and equipment as assigned. * Ensures all light fixtures are operational, changes light bulbs as necessary. * May assist in layout, construction and repair of a variety of plant or office structures such as walls, partitions, doors, concrete forms, and raised floors, ceiling tiles or roofs. Assists in layout for equipment installation. * May also assist in construction work such as laying brick, block, ceramic tile, concrete walkways or asphalt. * Assists with securing assigned area(s). May perform routine security tours of buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates, to ensure they are properly secured. * Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards. * Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. * Performs any other miscellaneous duties as requested.
