Director Sales, Managed Network Services- CHICAGO Our client, a leading provider of Video Conferencing, Audio Visual Integration and Managed Conferencing Services, has an opening for an experienced Director Sales, Managed Network Services in the Chicago, IL region. This is a strategic selling position which will team with Enterprise Sales Major Account Manager to earn greater share-of-wallet from our client Global 1000 customers. The sales professional will be required to perform the following job related activities: Develop a detailed understanding of our clients products and services. Work with reseller and technology partners to develop offering and follow up on leads. Develop and manage sales pipeline. Exhibit a consultative sales approach for enterprise wide solutions. Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate and that are profitable Travel, as necessary, to cover sales responsibilities in neighboring states. Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnel. Active and ongoing prospecting in the territory. Design and implement focused prospecting tools to include; webinars, seminars, email campaigns etc. to increase sales and expand our customer base in the designated territory. Accountability: Strong, detailed sales pipeline/funnel reporting. Education, Experience and Skills requirements The successful sales professional will be highly motivated and have a proven track record of established sales success with customers. 10+ years of outside sales experience with at least 5+ years in videoconferencing sales, telecommunications services sales or AV integration sales is preferred. 3-5+ years of strong track record in sales to F1000 clients. Candidates must have a strong base of experience in complex selling, detail-oriented, strategic thinker, disciplined, well-organized. Must have exceptional negotiation skills to close multi-year, high-dollar deals. A four year college degree is preferred. The sales person will possess excellent communications skills, (both verbal and written) be organized and comfortable with on-line forecasting tools and have the ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end user customers. Direct selling experience in the Managed Network Services (WAN, MPLS, VPN, etc.) and AV/VTC area is a must. Candidates should have experience selling network services, professional services, staff augmentation, unified communications, voip, sip, h.323, h.320, h.264, cisco telepresence, tandberg, polycom, codian, lifesize, extron, Creston, AMX products, as well as integration, professional and managed servics. Technical competence in WAN, MPLS, IP Networking, conferencing (audio, video, web) streaming video, video on demand (VOD). JOB SUMMARY Operate production machines, inserters, printers, bursters, metering machines, and general office equipment. Perform high speed, high volume production tasks such as embossing, inserting, and sorting to process card materials. Set up equipment, load materials, clear jams and other simple malfunctions, and unload product from equipment. Maintain productivity on all systems and deliver a quality product while meeting all production deadlines. Identify and resolve clearly defined problems. Complete and maintain reports and logs including: output, productivity, shift sheets, inventory forms and others as directed or assigned. Reconcile incoming and completed work. Communicate all issues, concerns or questions to the management team. Solicits work from management team when necessary. Work is generally repetitive and subject to inspection. Must be flexible to changes in duties, workflow, and priorities. Overtime required when necessary. Other duties as assigned by management.
