We are in need of an accounting assistant. this person will have an associates degree in accounting. some of your responsibilities will be; Check for statements with negative balances and process any first year commissions received File all checks and statements Receive and process mail for the manual checks Match deposits and checks to Carrier statements Process large bonuses received first usually over $100,000. Process all statements in order of date deposit received. Retrieve blank template for processing, determine first year and renewals by product. Lump sum renewals and process first years by looking up previous sample, copy and paste the data from previous sample. For all items that are new, research comp through Agency Works Determine if agents need to be paid by Partners, and how much Partners retains. Reconcile commission calculation with the Carrier statement and deposit For any chargebacks on the statement, research which agent chargeback is for by inquiring with the Carrier, then charge accordingly. Print out template and attach to statement, then file.
