This individual will work closely with managed care teammates, the regional account management team, payer marketing, as well as field sales counter parts. Duties and Responsibilities: The National Account Executive (NAE) will interact with health plan decision makers (including Medical Directors, Pharmacy Directors, Case Managers, etc-). The NAE will identify and cultivate relationships with key policy maker's within the third party payer business segment. The mission of the National Account Executive is to ensure end user access, reimbursement and proper utilization of marketed products by building relationships, and formulating strategies at the payer level. Extensive understanding of the payer environment (particularly around oncology reimbursement) is required. Past experience with Managed Medicare, National and Regional commercial plans is a must.
