Pre-Sales Engineer, Unified Communications, Central NJ Our client, a leading Systems Integrator in the Unified Communications market is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to assist in the selling process of company's solutions and services to prospects and current customers in the Northeast US region. This position will be a mix of virtual office, sales office time for meeting in New Jersey or New York City, and customer meetings. Responsibilities Support the regional sales team - responsibility for the technical aspects of the sales process. Leading in specifying integration solutions. Ownership of and prompt responses to RFP/RFI documents. Responsible for project reviews, including: Technical analysis of customer requirements. Creating configurations/quotes for customer. Preparation and sign off of technical proposals for customers. Act as an integral team member working to achieve regional and team sales goals. Manage pending sales situations from a technical pre-sales perspective, working alongside sales directors and regional sales managers both in-house and on-site, providing all support for achieving success in sales. Participation in trade shows. Travel (20-25%# may be required. Education, Experience and Skills Requirements BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or with three years experience in a sales support role for a technology vendor or VAR/ Systems Integrator, Professional Services or Consulting firm.
