Drug Safety Coordinator

Our client, located in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a Drug Safety Coordinator for an immediate full-time position. Details include: GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide assistance in the management of all adverse event reports received by CLIENT, including but not limited to clinical and regulatory assessment of individual reports, preparation of reports, maintenance of electronic database, report follow-up and preparation of standard as well as ad hoc adverse event reports RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Receive and account for all adverse event reports sent to Drug Safety 2. Conduct a case search in the tracking sheet and electronic database, and perform the initial data entry of case into the electronic database as well as log report in the appropriate tracking sheet 3. Scan source documents and store as appropriate 4. Assist in the training and orientation of new drug safety staff 5. Coordinate activities of the drug safety staff 6. Prepare and track reports for transmission to regulatory authorities, marketing partners and investigators 7. Assist in the maintenance of report integrity in the electronic database 8. Assist in the preparation of SOPs, track with document control, and maintain currency of SOPs 9. Maintain filing system integrity for report hardcopy 10.
