Configures software to meet design specifications and develops implementation plans for vendor provided software. Provides ongoing support and maintenance for production systems. Acts as liaison with operations community to ensure continuing responsiveness of applicable system software user requirements. Identifies, evaluates, tailors, and directs the implementation of vendor-supplied software packages. Ensures the maintenance of adequate software systems documentation. Provides technical assistance and training to users of systems, with little or no instruction or mentoring. NOTE: This position does perform some systems analysis functions. Education: Requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university. An equivalent 1:1 education / relevant work experience may substitute for each year of college not completed. Formal job training in vender-software configuration may be substituted for each year of college not completed. Some examples of vendor-supplied software include PeopleSoft, Seibel, SAP and Epic. This equivalency is in addition to what is required in the Experience and Skills section. Licensures/Certifications: Epic certification in one or more Epic application is strongly preferred but not required. Epic Certification or Proficiency in relevant application must be obtained within six months of starting in position. Maintenance of certification and proficiency is required. Experience and Skills: The Enterprise Applications Systems Analyst must possess the following general experience elements unless noted otherwise: - A minimum of two years systems analyst experience with at least one year serving as an active participant in the successful completion of one go-live or upgrade implementing vendor software or solving production problems in a time-constrained environment.
