Quality Inspection (Tester and Inspector) The starting pay is $12.50/hr. The position is first shift, 6am-2pm, and OT may be required. Quality Inspection positions perform inspection and/or testing duties to ensure that shipped product fulfills all customer specifications and quality requirements Quality Tester Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities • Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications. • Perform product “test” and “burn-in” procedures. • Document and report inspection findings and results; monitor corrective actions. • Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required. • Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs; log the assembly non-conformities and generate reporting (NCR). • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. • Conduct Test Inspections. • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Experience and Educational Requirements • High School or equivalent required. • 1 year electronic experience in quality control operations or equivalent internal experience required. • Experience using precision measuring instruments and electrical measuring devises. • Experience reading blueprints and/or schematics and distinguishing color codes. • Experience with general computer operations and MS Office programs. • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff effectively, both orally and in writing. • Required to successfully complete and pass a color test, measurement test, reading/writing test, and small font test. Quality Inspector (In-Coming or Final Inspection) Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities • Conduct inspections at First Article, In-Process and may complete Final Inspections. • Perform receiving inspection of materials, as needed, working in conjunction with receiving personnel. • Once Inspection Stamp is received, independently complete Final Inspections and have a full understanding of product defects. • Complete Certificate of Compliance. • Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished products. Insure that all products have been tested and fall within standards, measure to specifications and within tolerances, readability of labels, etc. • Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required. • Must be progressing toward and receive a Quality Inspection Stamp within 6 months of starting at the Quality Inspector level. Failure to obtain the Quality Inspection Stamp within 6 months may result in a demotion to Tester. • Works with Production Leads on re-works. • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. ... Assembler The Assembler performs assembly work to manufacture Electrical or Mechanical airplane products, including harnesses, circuit boards and lighting, in a cost effective and timely manner while fulfilling quality standards and customer expectations. In-Process inspections may be completed by certain employees; these employees will require an Inspection Stamp. Electrical Assembly includes: • Cut and measure wire or cable to ensure all wires will operate properly. • Prepare wire or cable for next process in production. • Solder as required; clean solder areas with alcohol to remove debris and excess solder. • Crimp pin/sockets onto the wires or cables; assemble into connector. • Apply heat shrinks, sleeving, labels and spot tie as required. Mechanical Assembly includes: • Use small hand tools and may use semi-automated equipment. • Solder and assemble components, using precision measuring. • Test assembly after assembling. 5 Harness Assemblers who have: wire harness assembly experience (small size harnesses), soldering experience, wire crimper experience, use of other small hand tools experience, ability to read blueprints/schematics, experience reading a BOM.
